Ranking of infractions by Company

Livestock Sector in Chile

Animal Law Focus presents its first public ranking of livestock companies in Chile based on official infractions and sanctions documented between 2021 and 2024.

This page is part of our broader initiative to uncover the systemic failures in animal welfare enforcement, increase transparency in the industry, and support informed public advocacy.

Between 2021 and 2024, over 470 animal welfare violations were recorded in the livestock industry, ranging from breaches of animal protection during breeding and transport to serious breaches of animal protection during slaughter. The fines in this ranking range from USD 700 to USD 43,000.

We are working to bring you more detailed information about all violations and penalties imposed on each company. We are committed to transparency throughout the entire farm animals industry.

This data was provided by the Agricultural and Livestock Service of the Government of Chile in early 2025.
