We are looking for a committed and proactive Fundraiser to help secure the resources needed to expand our impact for farmed animals. This role will involve developing and implementing fundraising strategies, identifying funding opportunities, and cultivating relationships with potential donors, foundations, and partners.

You will work closely with the Executive Director to design and execute fundraising initiatives that align with our mission and priorities. While this is currently an unpaid volunteer position, there is the possibility of small compensation in the future as the organisation grows and secures additional funding.

  • Assist in preparing compelling proposals, donor communications, and funding applications.

  • Help develop fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies.

  • Maintain accurate records of donor communications and funding opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to set and meet fundraising targets.

Requirements

  • Interest in animal law, animal protection, or social justice causes.

  • Strong communication and writing skills in English.

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable working independently and proactively.

  • Ability to research and synthesise information clearly.

  • Vegan or aligned with animal rights values.

Preferred

  • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, fundraising platforms, or nonprofit development.

  • Understanding of the animal advocacy or nonprofit sector.
